If you own a vintage store, for example, you may consider a logo that gives off that vintage feel. Think about how your logo would look if it were stamped – raw and a bit worn-in. A lot of vintage logos also choose to have an emblem as the focal point because it gives off an aged feeling. Keep in mind the feeling you want customers to have when designing your logo.

When crafting a boutique logo design, it's like being a magician pulling out an endless stream of symbols from your hat, each with its own unique flair and meaning. Beyond the initial allure of fonts and colors, the magic lies in the symbolism that imbues your logo with depth, personality, and a story that speaks without words. Let's embark on a creative safari, exploring the rich landscape of symbols that can elevate your boutique logo design from mere marks to meaningful messengers.

I created a hunter-jumper with fluid lines and braided mane and incorporated into the logotype. The horse's tail creates the letter "H" and the horse's leg creates the top of the letter "J". A great logo shows the world what you stand for, makes people remember your brand, and helps potential customers understand if your product is right for them. Logos communicate all of that through color, shape and other design elements. Colors are the voice of your brand, whispering sweet nothings about your style to your audience. The palette you choose can evoke emotions, convey messages, and set the stage for your brand's aesthetic.

A memorable logo can enhance brand recognition, foster customer loyalty and even influence purchasing decisions. The right logo will communicate professionalism and credibility, setting the tone for customer expectations. Your logo appears on everything from your storefront to your website, social media profiles, business cards and packaging. Each time someone sees it, they're forming perceptions about your boutique.

But, if your business doesn’t give off a vibe that’s too loud, consider sticking to traditional serif or sans-serif fonts. This will give off a sense of structure and stability to whoever sees your logo. Use this if your boutique is more professional or simply if that’s that type of impression you give off. This will work well in an arts and crafts store, for example, where the whole point is creativity. Maybe your font will look like brush strokes, or it will be made out of art supplies. Whatever you choose, make sure that it speaks to your brand and business.

We take pride in being a logo design company that not only creates visually appealing logos but also ensures they resonate with your brand’s values. Think of typography as your boutique’s signature accessory – the one that completes the look. The font you choose for your logo adds character and can significantly influence the style perception of your brand. A sleek, modern font can convey a chic, contemporary feel, while a handwritten script might suggest a more personal, artisanal touch. Select a typeface that not only matches the aesthetic of your boutique but also remains legible across various mediums, from storefront signs to online platforms.

Don’t overdo it; just include two different colors that complement each other in your boutique logo. Think about what message you want to convey with your logo colors. Designing a business logo for your boutique brand that your audience instantly identifies with can be challenging. But here are a few pro tips that can get you started right away with amazing results. Whether you sell fashion items, jewelry, or vintage clothing, your business needs an eye-catching boutique logo to get attention.

Select a color palette that matches the brand persona, mood, and message to your audience. Use a color wheel to help you choose the right color for your logo. Selecting the right logo colors can help you connect with your target audience on an emotional level and speak to logo psychology. For instance, black can represent sophistication and luxury, while pastel tones might be used to suggest gentleness and femininity. Whether you're launching a new boutique or revamping an existing one, understanding the impact of a well-crafted logo is crucial.

This boutique isn't just any retail space; it's a reflection of individuality and personal style. The trick is to dive deep into the brand's ethos, values, and the story it aims to tell. This exploration is akin to a treasure hunt, where understanding the brand’s narrative is the key to unlocking a logo that truly resonates. With a clear understanding of your brand's narrative, it's time to brainstorm ideas for your logo.

Royal Caribbean takes delivery of Icon of the Seas, world's largest cruise ship

new huge cruise ship

Royal Caribbean's first Oasis Class ship, Oasis of the Seas, began sailing in 2009. The line added additional Oasis Class vessels in 2010, 2016, 2018 and 2021, with each of the vessels being a little bigger than the last. Icon of the Seas will also be the first ship in the cruise line’s fleet to run on liquefied natural gas and fuel cells, which are similar to batteries but do not need to be recharged.

Silversea’s Silver Nova

All new suites, excluding the Sunset Junior Suite, are part of the Royal Suite Class' Sky or Star Tier, meaning that they come with all-day access to Coastal Kitchen and The Grove Suite Sun Deck. Prior to arriving in Miami on January 10, the ship sailed to Cádiz, Spain and Ponce, Puerto Rico for some finishing touches. Instead, families can enjoy the complimentary Surfside Eatery buffet, grab some snacks at Surfside Bites, or splurge on an all-day brunch at Pier 7. It's where they can stay and play all day, especially since there's no need to head to the Windjammer for lunch. The AquaDome Neighborhood is home to an enclosed AquaTheater, as well as a food hall featuring five different food vendors where you can choose from options ranging from mac and cheese to handcrafted Mediterranean bowls.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Grandeur

It's the first show-at-sea I've seen with a waterfall and nine-foot-tall robotic arms, and so far, it's one of my favorites. The ship's riff on Broadway-approved "Wizard of Oz" — 16-piece live orchestra and flying bed included — delighted me, a hater of most musicals. There's no need to grab coffee before harnessing up for the part-zipling, part-agility Crown's Edge course. You'll be jolted awake when the floor drops from beneath your feet, leaving you dangling 154 feet above the ocean before the zipline kicks in. Royal Caribbean is redefining the cruise industry with its latest ship, the Icon of the Seas.

Cobranded Cards

The first sailing of Icon of the Seas with paying passengers is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2024, out of Miami. The Meyer Turku shipyard is one of the only shipyards in the world big enough to construct a vessel of Icon of the Seas' size. She covers history, science, travel, food and beverage, sustainability, economics and other topics.

Icon of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean's first new class of ship since Quantum of the Seas launched in 2014. Here's a look at the enormous scale of the new ship and what to expect on board.

Symphony of the Seas

There will also be Desserted, a milkshake bar offering both virgin and boozy options. Base Camp is the dining venue in Thrill Island that will offer complimentary options, as well as some available for an additional charge. It is not just about the thrills themselves; it is about how the neighborhood can create memories for everyone onboard. Crown's Edge is a fear-inducing adventure course that's about 49 feet tall and 44 feet wide.

Ranging from 226,838 to 235,600 tons, the five Oasis Class ships are, in turn, more than 10% bigger than any other cruise vessels afloat. Surfside, notably, features splash areas for babies and kids, pools and lounge spaces for parents, family-friendly eateries and shops, and a bar with "mommy and me" matching mocktails for kids and cocktails for grownups. The vessel will undergo another round of sea trials later this year before officially launching in Miami early next year, according to Royal Caribbean. Icon of the Seas will primarily take cruisers to the islands of the eastern and western Caribbean on seven-night itineraries. There's no shortage of both complimentary and specialty dining options for guests to enjoy onboard Icon.

As the most discerning, up-to-the-minute voice in all things travel, Condé Nast Traveler is the global citizen’s bible and muse, offering both inspiration and vital intel. We understand that time is the greatest luxury, which is why Condé Nast Traveler mines its network of experts and influencers so that you never waste a meal, a drink, or a hotel stay wherever you are in the world. According to Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean, "It is a thrill at every single turn. No matter what your age, you can have a great time on Thrill Island." A sister ship called MSC Virtuosa is due in 2021, with a third vessel in the series coming in 2023.

The biggest thing to ever hit cruising is coming in January 2024, when Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas—which will be the largest cruise ship in the world—will debut to passengers for the first time. Eighteen decks high and nearly 1,200 feet long, Symphony of the Seas can hold up to 6,680 passengers at maximum occupancy -- an astounding number. The fourth vessel in the line's groundbreaking Oasis Class series of ships also offers a never-before-seen array of onboard attractions. Carnival is entering the Big Ship Wars with a splash, adorning Mardi Gras with the first roller coaster at sea (no, this is not a joke). The ship also will have Carnival's largest waterpark ever, a far broader array of suites than earlier Carnival ships and new dining venues such as the first Emeril Lagasse restaurant at sea.

At 169,116 tons, Norwegian Encore isn't quite as super-sized as the three ships above. But it's right up there among the biggest of the big of the new crop of giant floating mega-resorts, and it's the biggest ship ever for Norwegian -- a brand that has embraced the bigger-is-better worldview with gusto in recent years. Fast-growing MSC Cruises has been rolling out ever bigger ships in recent years, culminating last November with the unveiling of the appropriately named MSC Grandiosa. The "grand" new flagship of the line is the biggest MSC Cruises ship ever at 181,543 tons -- and the seventh-largest cruise vessel ever from any line. To put it another way, these are ships that aren't for people who like intimacy in a vacation. If you're that kind of traveler, you probably should stop reading right here.

The cruise line is positioning the vessel as “the ultimate family vacation,” as CEO Michael Bayley told reporters earlier this year, per CNN’s Maureen O’Hare. Started in 2010, Royal Caribbean Blog offers daily coverage of news and information related to the Royal Caribbean cruise line along with other relevant topics of cruising, such as entertainment, news, photo updates and more. Elizabeth graduated from New York University's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute with her M.A. Growing up, she had the privilege of traveling frequently with her family and fell in love with cruising after sailing on the Oasis of the Seas her freshman year of high school.

The new Carnival ship, Mardi Gras, is now set for a maiden voyage in February. In short, until the new coronavirus hit, the year was shaping up to be a particularly exciting one for big-ship lovers who always want to be on the latest-and-greatest vessels. Sustainability is a key part of the Explora Journeys brand and, as such, future planned Explora ships will be LNG-powered, and even later ships will be hydrogen-powered. There’s also a new milkshake bar, new Mediterranean eatery, and new sushi and street food window (which will also appear on Royal Caribbean’s later 2024 ship, Utopia of the Seas). The mega-ship's food hall wasn't nearly as diverse or exciting as the one on Norwegian Prima. While I would've preferred a quieter atmosphere (the DJ did not, in fact, play smooth jazz), the pool's views, day beds, and lack of screaming children were hard to beat.

It will sail roundtrip from Miami to the Caribbean islands of St. Kitts, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas. Already, one of the vessels -- MSC Grandiosa -- is sailing again in the Mediterranean, albeit on cruises that only are open to residents of Europe's Schengen countries. Cruise Hive was established back in 2008 and among the earliest blogs in the industry.

Royal Caribbean's new Icon of the Seas will be world's biggest cruise ship, with room for nearly 10,000 people

new huge cruise ship

Throughout the rest of this flashy ship, expect more than 40 dining and entertainment venues, split across 20 decks and eight neighborhoods. New dining venues include Royal Caribbean’s first food hall and the ultra-fancy Empire Supper Club, with its eight-course menu. Each and every year, we cover the biggest and best new cruise ships that you can look forward to in the year ahead (and that you can, in some cases, already book for your next cruise!).

Cruises

Sun Princess may not be slated to debut as the biggest cruise ship in the world, or even close to it, but this ship is still significant for Princes Cruises fans. The ship will be the largest ship in the cruise line’s fleet, more than 20% larger than the line’s second-largest ship. Icon will feature the largest waterpark at sea, with six record-breaking slides. Icon of the Seas is, notably, more than 6% bigger than the current size leader among cruise ships, Royal Caribbean's 1-year-old Wonder of the Seas. It's able to hold up to 7,600 passengers — a new record for a passenger ship. Instead, there's The Hideaway, which was designed to have a Las Vegas pool party vibe and features the first suspended infinity pool at sea, an expansive bar area, day beds, whirlpools, and lounge chairs.

Enhancing the family vacation experience

Another major brand, Carnival Cruise Line, was just months away from rolling out its own record-sized vessel. New features on this ship are minimal, as Viking Cruises has long attempted to keep its experiences similar across its ships, for guest experience continuity. Accordingly, expect the same decor and design, as well as restaurants and entertainment, that you might’ve already experienced on past Viking cruises. While not the largest ship on our list of new cruise ships, or the most anticipated, Mein Schiff 7 from TUI Cruises still offers a lot to love. Plenty of family-friendly cruise ships have waterslides, but few have six — or even one that requires a multi-person raft.

The world's largest cruise ship was delivered to Royal Caribbean on November 27, 2023

Royal Caribbean, too, had just brought out a new giant of the seas just 21 months earlier. If you’ve yet to familiarize yourself with Explora Journeys, you wouldn’t be alone. This relatively new cruise line is owned by MSC Group and is focused on luxury cruising in intimate atmospheres. Speaking of vibes, if you're looking for a secluded place to drink (as in, not the swim-up pool bar), few will top the Overlook Pods, perched just behind the AquaDome.

For a seven-night trip to the eastern Caribbean, rooms with an exterior view start at $2,061 for a September voyage and go up to $4,119 for a March voyage; rooms with a balcony start at $2,249 in September and increase to $5,245 in March. Every sailing of Icon of the Seas also will include a stop at Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay. The ship will be based in Miami year-round for seven-night voyages to the Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean. It'll rotate between four different itineraries that visit such destinations as St. Thomas; St. Maarten (the Dutch side of the island of St. Martin); Roatan, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.

Mein Schiff 8 is expected to arrive in late 2024 and will be the largest cruise ship for the cruise line to date. While not many details regarding the ship have been released just yet, we do know a few things. Following Silversea Cruises’ first Nova-class ship, Silver Nova, Silver Ray gains a spot as one of our most-anticipated new cruise ships for several reasons.

There are more dining venues onboard Icon of the Seas than any other ship in the fleet

[+] about $1,851 a person for an interior room; most passenger prices for an interior rooms in other months run between $2,000 and $3,300. Icon of the Seas boasts 18 passenger decks — two more than Wonder of the Seas. Liquefied natural gas, meanwhile, is a controversial energy source that involves cooling natural gas to a liquid state to make it easier to transport. The liquid version is “actually worse than ordinary gas,” writes the Natural Resources Defense Council. “The energy required to chill, ship and regasify the fossil fuel makes it far more carbon-intensive and increases the potential for leakage of dangerous methane,” according to the organization.

Many of the ship’s offerings are geared toward families, but adults-only spaces are also plentiful. There's a reason Royal Caribbean's new mega-cruise ship is only operating seven-night sailings. "Every time I see a picture of the Icon of the Seas cruise ship I am filled with an intense dread," one person said. Royal Caribbean now lists the cheapest ticket at $1,851 for an interior room on a seven-night cruise from Miami to the Western Caribbean in September 2024. The most expensive is substantially higher – $10,864 for a suite on the same cruise in March.

Royal Caribbean’s leaders say they view liquified natural gas as a “transitional fuel,” and that they hope to continue to reduce the environmental impact of their ships moving forward. The ship will be equipped with a special grooming robot that will clean the hull whenever it’s in port to help reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency by 3 to 4 percent, reports TTG Media’s Charlotte Cullinan. Whether you cruise multiple times per year or you're new to cruising, the goal of Royal Caribbean Blog is for it to be a useful resource for keeping up to date with what's new and exciting with Royal Caribbean.

This giant new Carnival ship isn't in operation yet, but it will be soon, and it'll be like nothing Carnival fans have ever seen. Scheduled to debut in February, the 180,000-ton vessel will be nearly 35% bigger than the biggest Carnival ship currently afloat, the just-unveiled Carnival Panorama, and one of the 10 biggest cruise ships ever from any line. Other new features include a new Asian and sushi restaurant, and a new smoke-free casino with an attached dance club. A previous feature on the cruise line’s ships, the Champagner Treff Champagne bar, gets a new look for better views. Other amenities include a running track, gym, spa, sports court, climbing wall, and one pool.

Bookings open Monday for Royal Caribbean's past guests and Tuesday to the public. When completed, the ship will be 20 decks high and 1,198 feet long and measure 250,800 gross tons. To compare, Wonder of the Seas is 1,188 feet long and measures 235,600 tons. Royal Caribbean on Monday took delivery of Icon of the Seas — the new world's largest cruise ship — from the Finnish shipyard that has been building it for nearly three years. Norwegian Encore is a slightly bigger version of three other Breakaway-Plus class ships that Norwegian has unveiled since 2015 (thanks to a small addition at its back to make room for the laser tag area).

As Disney’s latest and greatest cruise ship, and the sixth in the fleet, Disney Treasure provides all the magic that the cruise line is known for. There’s also the Park19 adventure park that features the first-at-sea roll glider, a ropes course, tilt wall and more adventurous fun to keep the adrenaline pumping. At first glance, I had snubbed the dining and lounge area as a rip-off of a generic airport coffee shop. But during my three days on Icon, I returned to the centrally located space more often than expected. I spent my time there perched at one of its in-water loungers, contently splashing my legs around the water, wondering if I actually hated cruises. It wouldn't be a roundup of Icon of the Seas' best amenities without a mention of its waterpark.

Carnival Liberty is another Conquest-class vessel that entered service in 2005. She was the first ship in the fleet to receive all the FUN 2.0 enhancements in 2011, including popular venues Guy’s Burger Joint and the Alchemy Bar. The Carnival Luminosa was formerly known as Costa Luminosa before she transferred from the sister brand Costa Cruises in 2022. The Spirit-class vessel began sailing following a dry dock to receive her new Carnival colors in September 2022. The new addition to the fleet departed on her first guest sailing in November 2022 from Brisbane in, Australia. Carnival Sunrise is a completely new cruise ship and departed on her inaugural voyage in April 2019.

Celebration

The Carnival cruise ship underwent a huge $200 million transformation and is now part of the Sunshine-class, which also includes Carnival Radiance and Carnival Sunshine. The vessel was previously known as Carnival Triumph, which originally entered service in 1999. Carnival Celebration is the second Excel-class vessel and sister ship to Mardi Gras.

Celebration was retired from Carnival's fleet in April 2008 to be used for a new sister company Iberocruceros as Grand Celebration. Carnival Cruise Lines retired Holiday in November 2009 and she began operating for Iberocruceros as Grand Holiday in May 2010. She departed on her inaugural voyage in March 1998 and since then has undergone 10 dry docks, with the latest adding the ship’s new red, white, and blue livery. The Carnival ship became the first in the new Sunshine class after completing a major bow-to-stern transformation in November 2013.

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS MAKING BIG HEADLINES

She last sailed for Cruise & Maritime Voyages from Spring 2015 to 2020 as the Magellan until Cruise & Maritime Voyages ceased operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was then sold at auction and was scrapped at Alang, India in early 2021. As of December 4, 2023, the newest Carnival cruise ship is the Carnival Jubilee. The second ship in the Excel-class and fully powered by Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) at 183,521 gross tons, the new vessel is operating from Port Canaveral, Florida, from December 23, 2023.

Her inaugural season saw her setting sail from Miami, whisking passengers away to the Bahamas and the Caribbean on sunny escapes. Seajets is planning to turn the ship into a floating hotel in Liverpool for the 2021 Grand National, but she was resold for scrap due to high operating costs. She was renamed Mages and sailed to Alang, India, for scrapping in January 2021. She sailed from Alabama to the western Caribbean until 2009, when she was transferred to the fleet of Iberocruceros, another cruise line owned by Carnival Corp. and renamed Grand Holiday. After a few other cruise lines and the ultimate name of Topaz sailing under the Peace Boat Organization, she was retired and laid up in April 2008. Some have been scrapped, and some continue to sail under other cruise lines today.

Only one vessel will not be decorated by the first week of December, but with good reason. The upcoming Carnival Jubilee – welcoming guests for the first time on December 23, 2023 – will join the fleet in full festive glory, as she will have her holiday decorations onboard from December 20. Of course, the solemn and thoughtful aspects of the season aren’t to be forgotten, even at sea. All Carnival ships will feature a special Christmas service on the night of December 24 or December 25, depending on the sailing.

This makes the ship a great place to call home for a while, gathering with your friends and family. For one thing, there’s Halloween all October long, where costumes at sea are just the beginning. When Thanksgiving comes along, it calls for a feast… with absolutely no cooking on your part. Christmas festivities are a big deal, combining solemn traditions with jolly fun… and a huge tree. Finally, we close out the year — and begin the next one — with New Year’s Eve traditions like a huge party… and the party isn’t complete without an after-party.

The vessel is 101,509 gross tons with a guest capacity of 2,984 at double occupancy and 1,108 crew members. Carnival Panorama is the final Vista-class class cruise ship and was built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri. She entered service in 2019 with her inaugural voyage in December of that year. Carnival Panorama is currently the fleet’s only ship with a Sky Zone, Trampoline Park. The ship’s godmother is Dr. Lucille O’Neal, mother of Carnival Cruise Line’s Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O’Neal.

Consider the different fun events going on during each holiday cruise to decide when to take your cruise vacation. The schedule for decorating different cruise ships for the holidays depends on a variety of factors. Because seasonal decorations are not stored onboard, ships can only be in port while the decorations are loaded and set up. It isn’t just daily activities that will have a festive flair during the holiday sailing season.

For the holiday season, our Spirit of the Season Moments and Holiday Show will be featured on several sail dates prior to Christmas. Guests are invited to wear festive attire for the caroling parties, and may even be surprised with a visit from a special North Pole resident to help celebrate the season. Competitive activities will also have a holiday flair, including Christmas and holiday-themed trivia contests and Bingo games. Guests can also try their hand to be the best at Christmas and holiday arts and crafts.

While cruise vacations are often focused on fun and excitement, guests who want to mark the holiday with solemn expressions of faith will have the opportunity to do so. A few days ago I posted the schedule for when each Carnival ship will be decorated for Christmas. Continuing our countdown to holiday cruise season, here are the special onboard activities that will be happening on all Carnival ships through the month of December. Specific days, times, and locations (unless already noted on the schedule below) will be available on your daily Fun Times or via the HUB app once you board. The Carnival cruise ship is 133,500 gross tons with a guest capacity of 4,008 at double occupancy, slightly more than her sister ships Carnival Vista and Horizon. Carnival Cruise Line goes beyond the older Fantasy-class vessels such as the Holiday-class.

Carnival Cruise Line has prepared several special entertainment options that are only onboard at this time of year, making each one a wonderful gift to all guests. The Carnival Paradise became just one of the two last Fantasy-class ships after Carnival Ecstasy left the fleet in the fall of 2022. Carnival Paradise will keep offering fun-filled cruise vacations at 71,925 gross tons and a guest capacity of 2,124. The vessel is 183,521 gross tons with a guest capacity of 5,372 at double occupancy, along with 1,735 crew members. Carnival Celebration is based in Miami, Florida, and also takes the name of a previous Carnival cruise ship, Celebration, that was part of the holiday class.

BOLT: ULTIMATE SEA COASTER

The ship follows in the footsteps of sister ship Carnival Vista but with the addition of a Seuss at Sea waterpark. You could call the Carnival Venezia half new, as she was transferred from sister brand Costa Cruises in 2023 and sailed her inaugural voyage as part of the Carnival Cruise Line fleet on May 29, 2023. The ship underwent a huge multi-million-dollar transformation in Cadiz, Spain, but still kept with her Italian traditional decor.

Rudi’s Seagrill™ is the brainchild of cookbook author and master chef Rudi Sodamin. He has years of experience pleasing palates of vacationers… and this guy loves serving up a smile as much as Carnival does! But he’s serious about seafood, and an evening at Rudi’s proves it through the courses. Enjoy selections like seafood bisque and crab-stuffed lobster tail imperial — all served with an elegant flair that pays proper tribute to the beauty of the ocean from which so much fun, and flavor, arises. Back then, she was considered quite the modern marvel, boasting features like the seven-deck-high neon-splashed atrium, a tiered lido deck, and even a 24-hour pizzeria.

Christmas Holiday Season

This will be synchronized with classic holiday music for a spirited way to set sail on what is sure to be a memorable holiday vacation. The benefits don’t end there — your little girls and boys eat free in most onboard specialty restaurants and get a free evening of Night Owls babysitting service, so you can enjoy a little alone time. We’ve taken the vast world that exists underneath the waves as the inspiration for Currents™… but why limit your imagination to what’s real? Let the fantastical world of sunken cities, mermaids and sea monsters swirl around your mind as you enjoy new bars, dining spots and live music venues that carry this vibe. This space has good looks, but you can’t miss the innovative tech packed into the zone! Six huge LED “windows” — and the awe-inspiring wavy LED ceiling — will help transport you to mesmerizing digital underwater worlds.

Next Norwegian Ship Will Sail with New Restaurants

Since its conception, the cruise line has had eleven ships that are no longer sailing with them, five of them added to the list after the cruise industry shut down in 2020. After you select your cruise ship, you’ll want to select the type of stateroom you will stay in. This can be a big decision since the space available in the various rooms can differ greatly. You will want to consider whether you want a stateroom or a suite, and how many you’ll need (if traveling with children).

These comfy rooms with a view let you take in the scenery as you sail toward your beautiful destinations. Enjoy old favorites or find fresh new ones aboard Carnival Jubilee™, where our chefs aim to delight any time from mealtime to snacktime to pizza-time (that’s ‘til 4 a.m.!). Carnival Jubilee™ has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Grand Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.

CHRISTMAS FUN… AND SO MUCH MORE

Launched in 1993, the Carnival Sensation was one of the early stars of Carnival Cruise Line’s Fantasy-class ships. Built in Finland, she joined her sisters Fantasy, Ecstasy, and Imagination in bringing a more casual and fun-focused approach to cruising. A few cruise lines later, she ended up with Premier Cruise Line, sailing under the name Big Red Boat III. When Premier went bankrupt in 2000, the ship was seized, and Big Red Boat III was ultimately scrapped in 2003. Carnival acquired Festivale in 1977 from the South African Marine Corporation.

Carnival Celebration

And even those reading lights, recessed into the wall so you can read in bed without waking anyone! Better comfort, lighting and storage all spring from a deep understanding we've developed around how people actually use their staterooms… and how small changes to the room add up to make the experience that much better. (Enough USB charging ports for everybody’s stuff? Oh yes!) Thoughtful, guest-centric design is how we do it… and all this in-room convenience comes paired with a fresh new look. Haute cuisine meets atmosphere at Fahrenheit 555™, a dining experience that stands toe-to-toe with some of the best steakhouses on land.

The Carnival cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 110,000, a passenger capacity of 2,980 at double occupancy, and 1,150 international crew members. Carnival Splendor is 113,300, just slightly larger than the Conquest-class vessels. She has a guest capacity of 3,012 and 1,150 international crew members. You might be wondering why Carnival Splendor is the only ship of its class in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. The ship was originally ordered by sister line Costa Cruises as a Concordia-class vessel. The ship was transferred to operate for Carnival during her construction in 2008 in Genoa, Italy.

She also switched home ports a few times, spending stints in Tampa and Port Canaveral before returning to Miami. In 2012, Pacific Sun left P&O and was sold to HNA Cruises, who named her Henna. She sailed for them until November 2015, when HNA shut down operations after three years of losing money. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line sold the ship in November 2020, and she was beached in Alang, Turkey, on January 14, 2021, for scrapping. After that, she was sold to Pullmantur Cruises, refurbished, and sailed as Ocean Dream. As of 2012, Ocean Dream left Pullmantur and was chartered to Peace Boat.

The huge transformation cost Carnival $200 million and the ship is now 101,509 gross tons with a guest capacity of 2,984 at double occupancy and 1,108 crew members. Furthermore, most cruise lines employ separate professionals to hang holiday decorations, as regular crew members already have full schedules with their assigned duties. This ensures the ships can be fully decorated in just the few hours between when one cruise ends and the next begins later the same day. Billed as “a magical show that’s sure to make your heart grow three sizes,” this seasonal production involves each ship’s singers and dancers for the best in holiday entertainment. Carnival Cruise Line has revealed details on special holiday entertainment and activities onboard all its ships.

To find uncharted flavors, never before seen on land, we had to dive deep. Far below the waves we met a mermaid who swims the depths of the oceans to find the long-lost treasures of ancient civilizations. You’ve gotta trust us… or you can join us at The Golden Mermaid™, where amazing drinks are just the beginning. Cocktail recipes inspired by precious metals and gemstones, drinks served in exquisite glassware, plus garnishes like edible glitter to remind you of sunlight streaming through the waves from up above! All this glitz pairs perfectly with live music, making this the perfect place to relax with an elegant drink before or after dinner. In the world of Carnival Jubilee™ zones are where fun, flavor and relaxation live… and there are six just waiting for you to explore.

Carnival Legend is 88,500 gross tons and has a guest capacity of 2,124, along with 930 crew members. There are 12 passenger decks and she cost the cruise line $375 million. The Carnival Conquest was a huge milestone for Carnival Cruise Line as she was the first in the popular Conquest-class, which consists of five vessels.

There was huge anticipation for the Carnival Vista on her features and design. She entered service in 2016 and was named by godmother Miss USA, Deshauna Barber. The Carnival cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 180,800 and a guest capacity of 5,282 at double occupancy. She features the first roller coaster at sea named BOLT and features new venues not seen on other older vessels. For every holiday sailing, the tree will be the focus of a special tree lighting ceremony on embarkation evening.

Whether it’s a Christmas service or a Hanukkah service with nightly menorah lighting at sunset, guests are welcome to celebrate their holiday with family and friends. Another great advantage of taking a holiday vacation on a Carnival cruise ship is the fact that they are actually pretty easy on your wallet. Once you’ve paid for the cruise itself, much of what is offered on the ship is included at no additional cost. This includes food, drinks, activities, and events each and every day. This means you can get more out of your vacation without stressing about how much you (or your children) are spending on food or anything else. MS Holiday (also known as Grand Holiday and Magellan) was a Holiday-class cruise ship, which was formerly owned by Carnival Cruise Line as the Holiday and Ibero Cruises as the Grand Holiday.
